Valerie is a native of Arab and loves her hometown. She graduated Cum Laude in 2012 from the University of North Alabama with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. While studying at UNA, she was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society of Nursing.

As a Registered Nurse she worked in the Neonatal ICU in Huntsville, AL. In 2014, she completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She is certified in family practice by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
