Welcome to our Guntersville facility, opened in January 2011. This is where it all started, the initial location of our practice. This facility has seen great growth since its inception, including at least 3 major renovations since its purchase.

Meet Our Providers
Our Guntersville office is led by our medical director, Dr. Jess Youngblood, Dr. Cassie Stephenson, Office Manager Lisa Heard, and our excellent nurse practitioners including Heather Turner and Katie Elliott. We have a large team of clinical and office staff including 5 nurses, 2 triage assistants, 3 receptionists, and 1 referral specialist. All of these staff work together as a team to meet your health needs and support our medical providers.
Jess Youngblood, MD

Cassie Stephenson, DO
Dr. Cassie Stephenson is a board-certified family medicine physician who brings a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to Premier Family Care in Guntersville, Alabama. Born in Cleveland, Tennessee, Dr. Stephenson completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at Lee University in 2017.
Katie Elliott, CRNP
Katie grew up in Milford CT and served in the United states air force. SHe graduated from St. Vincent’s college in 2008 with an associates degree in nursing. In 2013, she obtained her bachelors of science in nursing at Central CT State University. As a registered nurse Katie worked in various emergency departments to include level one and two trauma centers.
J. Paul Mizelle, CRNP
Paul grew up in Ft. Walton Beach, FL, and moved to the Tennessee Valley in 1992. He obtained his first nursing degree at Calhoun Community College in 1998, and since then, he has served the residents of the Huntsville area through working at Crestwood Medical Center and Huntsville Hospital.
